How to Upgrade Your Account
- Open the Maya app and tap Upgrade Account from your profile.
- If you have a PhilSys National ID, enter your full name and date of birth — verification is instant.
- If using another government ID, upload a clear photo of the front and back.
- Wait for approval: instant for PhilSys ID holders, up to 24 hours for other IDs.
Maya Bank Deposits
Opening a Maya Bank savings account gives you access to an account insured by PDIC up to PHP 1,000,000 per depositor. Maya Bank savings earns up to 15% interest per annum, credited daily.
